What People Are Saying
★★★★★
“Had a lovely stay in the Fox Den! A perfect, cozy riverside retreat. Amenities exceeded my expectations – there is a sink with potable water on site and a gorgeous outdoor shower (with hot water!!). Tyler was wonderfully detailed in his communications and very friendly. Perfect location; it was so nice to be in a place that feels so remote but still has two restaurants within walking distance! Will definitely be back.”

“Stayed for my honeymoon and it was the most serene experience! The fox den was perfect to cuddle up in blankets and watch tv while you listen to the water. The stream next to the fox den was perfect to get away and sit by a fire with my husband! Not to mention the hot tub and walking some trails! Tyler was a great host! Checking up on us via messages, we didn’t experience any issues darning our stay but if we had Tyler would have answered fast! We will be booking with Uncommon Accommodations again!!”

“What a cute, well supplied little house with gorgeous stream, waterfall and trees. They have thought of everything! The coolest outdoor shower with hot water that you ever saw! How about the cozy hot tub on those cool nights! We come to Vermont yearly and rent BNBs... this one was my favorite! Lots of privacy too. The host is there is you need and not if you aren’t! I appreciate that ! We will be back!”

“We decided to spend our honeymoon there for a week. Not only was it relaxing and peaceful but it brought a piece of serenity that is so desperately needed these days. Well, you do have access to cell phone and Internet. It was nice to just step away and enjoy the Atmosphere that is around you. We kept the window open the entire time we were there to enjoy the amazing river sounds and we woke up to birds and falcons going right through the river. I would highly recommend this place for the price and the time you could get yourself a great deal. We look forward to coming back for a weekend getaway.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay at the Fox Den, the room was clean and as advertised plenty of space for two and we enjoyed using the outdoor hot tub and shower which were cleaner and better maintained than most hotels. The location is great for all the nearby hikes and breweries. It's also an easy drive to get to and from Burlington without having to trek through all the Stowe traffic during the high season. The glampsite definitely added a fun color to our trip and we couldn't be more happy with our decision.”

“Absolutely awesome visit at The Fox Den! Cute fox decor and yellowy color palette inside. Big window overlooking the Lamoille river was gorgeous. There were some snow showers during our visit and we were cozy and warm inside. The hot tub was a really nice feature too, as was the fire pit and grill. Great location to pretty much everything we like in VT. Already planning our return visit. Thank you!”
