What People Are Saying
★★★★★
“I have had the pleasure of staying at Uncommon Accommodations several times, and have always had a wonderful experience in every season! Tyler has been a very accommodating host, everything has always been clean and in good working order. The locations are unbeatable – riverside and minutes from the best skiing and hiking in Vermont! It’s incredibly romantic for couples, and it’s also been a great experience to stay there with family; we went on a group trip to teach my nieces and nephew how to ski, followed by a visit just down the road to Wyckoff Family Maple for a maple syrup making demo complete with a pancake breakfast. As for the romance, my now husband proposed to me while skiing at the top of Smugglers' Notch, and we celebrated by calling our family to tell them the news from the hot tub beside the snowy river – I can’t imagine any more beautiful or happy a day or a better place to have spent it! I am always delighted by the novelty of staying in each unique lodging, and will definitely be back.”

“We had a really nice time here. The accommodations were great. Perfect for what we needed and our stay. Peaceful and quiet. The grounds are incredible. The kids loved every second of it. The hot tub is perfect after a swim in the river. We’ll definitely be back to this place if we’re ever in the area again!”

“Tyler’s place was perfect for a family weekend ski trip! The hot tub was great to get into after a long day on the slopes, and comfortably fit 4 people. There is a brewery right next door with great food and everyone was very friendly there. Our Lexus highlander did just fine in the snow - they are really good about plowing the roads, and Tyler came over to shovel the driveway so we could easily get out. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would 100% recommend Tyler’s place. Thanks again, Tyler!”
