The Experience
Welcome to the Maple Sugar Shack, a tiny house that captures the spirit of Vermont in every detail — warm wood tones, cozy textures, and a touch of rustic charm inspired by the state’s sweetest tradition. Nestled among towering pines at Uncommon Accommodations along the Lamoille River, this charming retreat invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and savor the simple pleasures of country living.
Mornings here start with fresh coffee on your private deck as sunlight filters through the trees. Spend your day exploring local trails, visiting nearby sugar shacks and covered bridges, or skiing or hiking at Stowe or Smugglers’ Notch. Return in the evening to soak in the outdoor hot tub, watch the sunset glow over the forest, and cozy up by the propane fireplace with a cup of locally made maple cocoa.
The Maple Sugar Shack combines the warmth of a Vermont cabin with the creative design of tiny-house living — offering a nostalgic, peaceful experience that feels both homey and special.

The Space
Inside, the Maple Sugar Shack feels like stepping into a Vermont postcard. Thoughtful design details — from buffalo-check accents to reclaimed wood finishes — create an inviting, cabin-like atmosphere without sacrificing modern comfort.
The main living area features a plush seating for two. A propane fireplace adds warmth and ambience, making this an ideal retreat year-round. The kitchenette includes a cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker, giving you everything you need for simple home-cooked meals.
Climb up to the sleeping lofts, where a comfortable full bed awaits under a sloped wood ceiling. And a twin bed for the kids or another guest. The bathroom offers a modern shower with unlimited hot water — a luxurious touch for a tiny house. Large windows fill the space with natural light and frame views of the surrounding forest, while the private deck offers the perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee or evening stargazing.
Every corner of this home celebrates Vermont craftsmanship and character — cozy, charming, and unmistakably local.
