Riverside Luxury Geodome

Disconnect from the world and reconnect under the dome — Sleep in nature without giving up modern comfort

1449 Route 15, Johnson, Vermont

The Experience

Wake up to the river. The geodome’s massive floor-to-ceiling window frames sweeping views of the Lamoille River, bringing the outdoors in whether you’re sipping coffee at sunrise or watching the water move by the fire at night. Designed to feel both expansive and deeply cozy, the space blends modern architecture with the calm rhythm of nature just outside the glass.

Inside, every detail is intentional. A Vermont Castings fireplace anchors the space in winter, while a whisper-quiet mini-split keeps things perfectly comfortable year-round. Sink into a plush memory foam mattress, wash up at an antique washstand, and settle in for a stay that feels secluded, restorative, and effortlessly comfortable—no compromises required.

The Uncommon Accommodation

This is not a typical place to stay. The geodome is a carefully curated blend of old and new—heritage materials, thoughtful design, and modern systems working together to create something truly distinctive. From the warmth of the fireplace to the softness of the linens, each element was chosen to elevate the experience without distracting from the setting.

Uncommon accommodations are about moments you remember long after you leave: watching snow fall through the window, listening to the river from bed, or returning from a day outside to a perfectly warm, quiet space. This is a stay designed to slow you down, reconnect you with nature, and remind you what comfort can feel like when it’s done right.
