Outside, cross our suspension bridge for direct access to the Smugglers’ Notch Resort trail system, or unwind at the shared riverside hot tub & barrel sauna. Ski, hike, bike, soak & explore—all from one unforgettable home base.

The apartment is designed to be just as much fun to come home to as the mountains are to explore.

Inside, two comfortable bedrooms provide plenty of space to recharge after a day of skiing, hiking, or biking. The living area is made for hanging out, with ample seating, a full-size Ms. Pac-Man arcade, and a dedicated ping pong table.

For your own private après-ski experience, the suite includes a 2-person infrared sauna. The bathroom features a vintage clawfoot soaking tub with a rain-style shower, while the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a weekend—or a longer stay—including a full-size refrigerator, gas range, oven, and dishwasher.

Outside, you’ll have your own picnic area, fire pit, and grill surrounded by the Vermont woods.

Just beyond the house, the Brewster River becomes part of the experience. Follow the path to the shared riverside hot tub and barrel sauna for a Nordic-inspired hot/cold circuit, with the river itself offering a natural cold plunge.

Our suspension footbridge crosses the Brewster River and connects the property directly to the Smugglers’ Notch Resort trail system—giving you hiking and mountain biking access without getting in the car.

In winter, Smugglers’ Notch Resort is just minutes away for skiing and riding. In warmer months, spend your days hiking, biking, swimming, exploring the river, or simply relaxing beside the water.

Several hundred feet of private access to the Brewster River. Connect to the Smuggler's Notch Resort hiking & snowshoe trails from the property across the river. 1min drive to the Resort for year-round activities. Gorgeous year-round views of Smuggler's Notch from the property, one of Vermont's most famous foliage and ski destinations!

Your stay also gives you access to the on-site hot tub along the Brewster River just steps away from this apartment. Hot tub is available year round and guests from other units on the property also have access to hot tub.

I am close and pretty handy if you have any issues, but I will give you all the space you desire.

This is a private lower-level apartment within a larger home, with its own separate entrance and private indoor living spaces.

The riverside hot tub and barrel sauna are shared with other guests on the property and available year-round. Your infrared sauna, picnic area, fire pit, and grill are private to your stay.

The bathroom has a vintage clawfoot tub with an overhead rain-style shower; there is not a separate walk-in shower.

We’re only minutes from Smugglers’ Notch Resort. During winter, Route 108 through Smugglers’ Notch is closed to vehicles beyond the resort, so driving to Stowe requires going around the mountain and takes approximately one hour.

This is a mountain property surrounded by forest and the Brewster River. Wildlife, changing trail conditions, snow, ice, mud, insects, and the sounds of flowing water are all part of the setting.

Quiet hours begin at 11pm. Parties and unauthorized guests are not permitted.
