About the property
Perched among the trees and accessed via a private footbridge, this elevated modern A-frame feels like a true luxury treehouse retreat. Thoughtfully designed by local architect Raymond Boutin and expertly built by craftsman Todd Miller, the space blends contemporary comfort with timeless Vermont style. Inside, you’ll find maple veneer walls, Douglas fir beams, red oak stair treads, and rich Brazilian hardwood floors—all carefully selected to create a warm, refined atmosphere.
The open living area features a sculptural round designer couch, a sleek indoor fireplace, and a full modern kitchen. A striking spiral staircase leads to a cozy loft bedroom nestled under the steep roofline. Step out onto the string-lit deck—suspended above the Lamoille River—for a serene coffee moment or a starlit glass of wine. Every detail, from the materials to the layout, has been crafted to offer a high-end, one-of-a-kind Vermont experience.
Step outside and you’re just moments from the river, hot tub, and sauna, making it easy to build your own slow, restorative rhythm during your stay—morning coffee by the water, evenings under the stars, and deep, restful sleep.

Vermont was a great trip destination; and catching all of the scenery and then returning back to this place was the perfect getaway we had wanted. We found great local stops, in help partially from the website’s travel guide. It was a great, well-kept house with cozy accommodations. We hope to find time to return!
Tyler is literally the best host I've ever encountered and I travel a lot. I wanted a unique place to stay at and the tree house is exactly that. It is one of the coolest places we've ever stayed at. The river right off the deck is gorgeous and we started each morning with a swim and it was so refreshing. The other amenities were amazing and the tree house has everything you need. A short 20-minute ride to Stowe or you can go over the notch and explore. We visited waterfalls, the top of Mount Mansfield and ate at some super yummy restaurants. We will absolutely be back to this amazing spot!
