Very cute area- so close to Stowe and some smaller towns either very good food options! The cabin was very cute- will point out though that it is more like a tiny house and less cabin feel. Fine for two people, but definitely cramped with a dog. The cabin is also quite close to a busy road so during the day when we were sitting on the back porch, it could be a little noisy. Amenities like the hot tub, sauna and river access were awesome!
NOT secluded/peaceful Enjoyed stay for the surrounding area - good views, adventures, & food Privacy • pictures of listing didn’t do a good job showing how close each stay on the property was to one another, it felt very much like a campsite w/ each stay having lots of glass doors, exposed porches, & very little privacy, the whimsical cottage was tucked up higher than others so we were angled more away giving us slightly more privacy • we were right next to a very loud & busy road - open windows at night meant no sounds of nature only sounds of cars/trucks zooming by & their headlights flashing in Amenities • river access not easy to get to/well maintained • hot tub in center of property so you are on public display w/ other guests being able to view you from each tiny home/cabin - also found hot tub occupied every time we tried to utilize it (same for the sauna) Pet • pet “friendly” definitely not pet accommodating, no place to dispose of pet waste outside of cabin
Overall a pleasant stay! We really enjoyed the private deck and views. The place was clean, well-stocked, and felt safe.
